The Finnish Economic Association is a scholarly organisation that supports economic research, disseminates information about economic issues to wider public and promotes economic policy debate in Finland.
The Association organizes the Annual Meeting of the Finnish Economic Association, Kansantaloustieteen päivät that is the largest annual economic conference in Finland. The conference takes typically place in February and the call for papers is distributed in the preceding fall.
In addition, the Association publishes two economic journals. Journal of the Finnish Economic Association (JFEA) is an open-access peer-reviewed scientific publication. Kansantaloudellinen aikakauskirja (KAK) is a Finnish language journal and aimed at a more general audience. KAK is published four times a year and features expert commentary on economics and economic policy.
